Meet caro
My name is Caro, and I am a teacher and a lifelong student. My rock bottom gave me this practice, and I honor everyone who steps into my classroom. My goal is to guide my students through their practice with all 8 limbs of yoga.
I am a Certified 200 HR Ashtanga/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, Licensed Y12SOR Leader (Yoga 12 Step Recovery), and certified Personal Trainer. I have the deepest love for the connection of mind and movement. Although my yoga journey began with the desire to heal my wounds, I have developed a profound love for the spiritual experience within physical movement.
Yoga gave me the divine connection that has brought immense bliss into this lifetime, and I now dedicate my work to giving the same gift I was given — the gift of remembrance, peace, and divine alignment through practice. I specialize in what healed me in many ways: somatic healing — a practice that bridges body awareness, emotional release, and nervous system regulation to help others come home to themselves.
I am the founder of Mindful Movement Retreats, where I create divine unity through people, experiences, and practice. My specialty is guided meditation with recovery as the foundation. Through my teachings, I use the somatic approach of yoga and the cognitive approach of recovery models, including the 12 steps, harm reduction, and CBT.

My coaching containers range from 30-day immersions to 3-month transformations. We focus on restoring balance by healing cortisol levels, somatically releasing stored tension, and realigning the body through mindful nutrition. This is a complete realignment — a fail-proof method to reset your nervous system, body, and mind.
